Terms of use

ChairOps is front desk software that works with your current booking system: a booking desk, weekly numbers, quotes, and related messaging for hair salons, barbers, nail salons, and beauty studios. Plans are billed in CAD. Applicable taxes appear on the invoice. Setup is a one-time build fee. The monthly fee is billed in advance. Every plan is month to month, with no contract, and you can cancel at the end of the current period. See Refunds.

Fill Guarantee

If ChairOps hasn't filled at least 12 visits for your shop in your first 60 days (6 on Small Shop), we'll refund your setup fee in full, and you can cancel with nothing more to pay.

Shops on the setup-waived offer pay no setup fee, so if ChairOps hasn't filled at least 12 visits in your first 60 days (6 on Small Shop), we'll refund your second month instead, and you can cancel with nothing more to pay.

A filled visit is a client booking through the ChairOps page or widget, taking a waitlist spot, or rebooking within 30 days of a nudge, and not cancelling or no-showing. To qualify: the booking link is on Google and Instagram in week one, nudges are turned on, the booking app is kept connected, and you claim within 14 days after day 60. Shops on the setup-waived offer get their second month refunded instead.

Current offer

Current offer on Small Shop and Core: the setup fee is waived, and the monthly price is 25% off for 6 months (Core $375 a month, Small Shop $187.50 a month). After 6 months the regular price returns. The plan is still month to month, and the Fill Guarantee still applies.

You remain the steward of your client records. ChairOps processes them to run the desk you configured (PIPEDA and, where it applies, Alberta PIPA). We do not sell that data. You must have authority to connect calendars and booking software on behalf of the shop.

ChairOps is front desk software for salons, nail bars, barbers, and spas. It is not a health record, and it is not a licensed practice. Any voice on ChairOps is an AI assistant, not a person. Callers are told that. When the shop forwards its business number, that assistant answers as the shop, books the appointment, and the owner receives a summary of the call. Texts are a booking confirmation, one reply if they text the line, or one note if a call does not connect. Each one says to reply STOP to opt out. In a crisis the assistant tells the caller to call 911, or to call or text 988.

We do not store full card numbers. Use of the service must follow the Acceptable use page and xAI's terms for the bundled Grok and Voice APIs. This is not a resale of raw Grok access.

ChairOps sends follow-up messages, runs booking, and keeps the client list.

AI drafts

ChairOps uses AI to write drafts: messages, quotes, website scan results, call summaries, and suggestions. Treat every one as a draft for you to check. It is not legal, tax, health, or other professional advice, and it can be wrong. You decide what gets sent or booked.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by Alberta law, ChairOps is provided as-is and as available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will fill a set number of chairs, other than the Fill Guarantee above. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for missed bookings, lost profits, or a shop's failure to keep its booking software in sync. Consumer protections that cannot be waived still apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in Calgary have exclusive jurisdiction, except where a consumer is entitled to their home court.
